CSC

1. General

1.1 CSC is a mobile application or “App” in short, developed by Gujarat Police, in partnership with Significant Cyber Security India, VVNagar.

1.2 CSC App needs user to register and provide certain details before the user can start using the application for security purpose.

1.3 By downloading and installing this Application - CSC from the play store , you agree to abide by these terms of use (“Google terms and Condition”). Please read them carefully before installation and acceptance. The application and software are provided on an “as is” basis without warranty of any kind.

2. Definitions

2.1. The “Application” or “App” in short named as “CSC” shall mean the software developed by Signficant Cyber Security India in partnership with Gujarat Police, for use by members of the public after it is downloaded from the play store and to be used on devices running on Android OS ver 4.0 or above and to offer services related to any upgrades from time to time and any other software which enables the use of the Application.

3. System Requirements

3.1. In order to use the Application, you are required to have a compatible mobile phone or handheld device with GPS, internet access, and the necessary minimum specifications ('Software Requirements').

3.2. The Software Requirements are as follows: Android OS devices on Android OS 4.0 up above; Language: English/Gujarati.

3.3. The version of the Application software may be upgraded from time to time to add support of new functions and services.

4. Limitations of Liability

4.1 to the extent premmited by law, in no event shall "Gujarat Police" or "Significant Cyber Security India" be liable for personal injury, death or any direct, indirect incidental, special, consequential or exemplar damages whatsoever, including without limitation, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, bussiness interruption, or any other commercial damages or losses, arising out of related to your use or inability to us the "CSC" application. The Company's Servers any aspect of the "CSC" application software or the messaging service, however caused, regardless of the theory of liability (Contract, Tort or otherwise) and even if "Significant Cyber Security India" has been advised of the possibility of such damages, these limitations shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law. Som jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for personal injury, or of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you.

4.2 You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for all content stored on or retrived from your mobile device and that it is your sole responsibility to keep information in the "CSC" application up to date, accurate and complete. "Gujarat Police" or "Significant Cyber Security India" will not be held liable for your failure to make changes in contact information.

5. Availability

5.1. This Application is available to handheld mobile devices running on Android OS Operating Systems between and including the Android OS ver 4.0 and above. Gujarat Police and Signficant Cyber Security India will make reasonable efforts to make the Application available at all times. However acknowledgement of the Application is provided over the internet and mobile networks and so the quality and availability of the Application may be affected by factors over which Gujarat Police and Signficant Cyber Security India have no control, such as Mobile network availability, active sim and active connection with Mobile Provider etc.

5.2. Once the application is uninstalled or deleted or initial configuration settings are removed - the application and any support associated will cease to exist. Gujarat Police reserves rights to discontinue the application and associated support with a prior email notification to the user.

6. Conditions of Use

To use the “CSC” application software, you must first accept these terms and conditions.
Downloading the application, using the application, or confirming that you have accepted the terms and condition.

6.1. You will not allow third parties on your behalf to (i) make and distribute copies of the Application, extract code (ii) attempt to copy, reproduce, alter, modify, reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, transfer, exchange or translate the Application; or create derivative works of the Application of any kind whatsoever.
6.2. The Application is currently made available to you free of charge solely for your personal and non-commercial use. Gujarat Police reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Application or service provided to you in accordance with these app terms, at any time and for any reason.
6.3 You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any content, and that under no circumstances will Gujarat Police or Significant Cyber Security India be liable in any way for any content or for any loss or damges of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the content made available via the "CSC" application.
6.4 You acknowledge that Gujarat Police or Significant Cyber Security India does not pre-screen or approve content, but that the company shall have the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discreation to refuse, delete or move any content that is available via "CSC" application , for violating the letter or spirit of these terms or for any other reason. Under no circumstancess will Gujarat Police or Significant Cyber Security India be liable in any way for any content, including but not limited to, errors or omissions of any content, loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any content made available to you via the "CSC" application.

7. Data Protection

7.1. In case of an emergency, the personal information you have provided while registering, installing or using the application will be used by Gujarat Police to know your location. Such personal information may be responsibly shared further with appropriate authorities
7.2 When completing the Registration section for your "CSC" application, you will be asked to provide certain personal information, including third party contact information. The information you provide on the "CSC" application is retained by "Gujarat Police" and is governed by this privacy policy. You are responsible for keeping your mobile device safe and secure and out of the reach of others and any information entered is at the risk that it may be viewed on your mobile device.
7.3 During the registration we store the IMEI No and Other Hardware device information for legal aspects.

8. Termination

8.1. Gujarat Police may terminate or suspend access to this (CSC) Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
8.2 All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
8.3 Gujarat Police may terminate use of the Application at any time for misuse and at their discretion may provide any information relevant to the termination of the Application.
8.4 Upon any termination, (a) the rights and licenses granted shall terminate; (b) you must cease all use of the Software thereafter.
